Pirrone's Pizzeria

If you are going to try St Louis style pizza then you have to try Pirone's. PROVEL Cheese! Provel is a delicious. St. Louis favorite! The pizza is one of best in town and they always have lots of great options, hot and fresh I only ordered a cheese pizza that's what I was there for. First of three spots on schedule. This is one locals favorite pizza spots in STL. Awesome service! 100% recommend!

I love Pirrone's pizza! I'll be honest I have not tried anything else on the menu besides the wings. The pizza is a a classic STL style pizza with provel cheese,the crust is thin but not cracker thin like some chains restaurants in the area. I get the LG supreme pizza and a order of hot wing about twice a month. I can usually make two to three meals out of that order alone, so it justifies the price. My only complaint is with the wings they tend to be smaller and cooked a little too well done for my taste, but the sauce is good so I call it a wash. I have asked for the wings to be cooked a little less but it's never worked out. With that said, I cannot in STL find a place that has good STL style pizza and wings as good as Pirrone's Florirssant. The restaurant dining room is a little dated and can be a little dark. So it's not the most welcoming environment. The wait staff is friendly and attentive so I can't really complain.

Got takeout to try St. Louis style pizza and the fried ravioli - when in Rome! Also enjoyed a few other of their italian entrees and a delicious banana pudding cheesecake.
